In Which I Make A Cayenne And Avocado Chicken Sandwich
There really is nothing like a yummy sandwich. I made a cayenne and avocado chicken sandwich today and it was heaven. It was easy to make and provided a simple but delicious lunch.
I started out by taking two pieces of bread and brushing them with olive oil, sprinkling them with salt and pepper, and baking them in the oven for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
I mixed together 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and rubbed it onto a chicken breast.
I cooked it in a skillet with a splash of olive oil and then cut it up into yummy bite size pieces.
I cut up some tomatoes, onions, avocado, and some greens. Side note: A nice little trick so your avocado doesn’t fall out of your sandwich is to smash it and then spread it onto your bread
Assemble it all together and commence to salivate

In Which I Make Corner Bookmarks
I saw this really cool post on how to make corner bookmarks and decided to try doing some.
I started out by cutting paper into a template
Added some pretty paper
Folded the triangles
And then glued some more pretty paper to the triangle
It was so wonderfully easy!
I think I got addicted to making them, and they’re great as random little gifts. I already have more ideas for decorating more bookmarks. And really, in my house, you can never have too many bookmarks.
